Asphalt Repair

Asphalt Repair 1
Whether properly maintained or not, asphalt is not a one-time installation project. Even with proper maintenance, asphalt will need repairs such as patching, potholes, and crack filling.

Asphalt Patching

Asphalt patching is one of the most cost-effective forms of repair. It is used in various repair jobs, such as potholes, alligator cracking, and low or sunken areas. It also helps prolong the quality of your surface.

Patching techniques range from pothole patching to surface patching, overlay patching, digout patching, infrared patching, and excavation patching.

Pothole Repair

The nemesis of cars and countless public works departments, potholes are most often caused by water and consistent traffic use. Pavecon repair services remove the loose and broken pavement, then use a liquid asphalt tack for adhesion. The pothole is then filled with the new asphalt mix.

Crack Filling

If left unattended, unsightly pavement cracks can lead to further–and more costly–damage. Repairing cracks in the surface is a cost-effective way to protect the surface from deterioration. Cracks are cleaned with pressurized air, then filled with a joint sealant and aggregate material to improve cohesion. They are then sealed and left to cure.
